Bylinki Limited ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act, No. 11 of 2022 (PDPA) of the United Republic of Tanzania, and the Electronic and Postal Communications Act (EPOCA), Cap. 306. Identity & Contact Data
Full name, email address, phone number, sex, and region of residence.
Professional Data
Work experience, educational qualifications, skills, industry sectors, professions, and referee details.
Usage Data
Pages visited, job applications submitted, notifications read, and device/browser information collected automatically.
Authentication Data
Encrypted passwords and session tokens. We do not store passwords in plain text.

We do not sell your personal data. We share your data only in the following circumstances:
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as required to provide our services. Upon account deletion, we will erase or anonymise your data within 30 days, unless retention is required by law (e.g., for tax or regulatory purposes, which may require retention for up to 7 years under the Tax Administration Act, Cap. 438).
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, in accordance with Section 29 of the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022. These measures include encrypted storage, HTTPS transmission, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Right to Erasure
Request deletion of your data where there is no lawful reason for continued processing.
Right to Restrict Processing
Request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
Right to Data Portability
Receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
Right to Object
Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Right to Withdraw Consent
Withdraw consent for optional processing at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.
Right to Lodge a Complaint
File a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) of Tanzania.

We use essential session cookies necessary for authentication and Platform functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Usage analytics are collected in anonymised, aggregated form only.
Our Platform is not directed at persons under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately at privacy@bylinki.com.
Your data may be processed on servers located outside Tanzania (e.g., via Supabase infrastructure). Where such transfers occur, we ensure equivalent protection is in place in accordance with Section 35 of the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law or our practices. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-platform notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
